SC Broadband places great emphasis on education. We recognize that a good education is valuable not only to the individual but also to the communities in which we live, and, with that in mind, we dedicate ourselves to providing dozens of scholarships for deserving students.
Our scholarships, awarded each Spring, are to help local youth continue their education and excel in their chosen careers.
Applications for 2027 open this winter.

Annual Scholarships
SC Broadband College & Vocational Scholarships
34 College or Vocational scholarships of $1,500 are available to all graduating high school seniors. *The student must live in the SC Broadband Cooperative service area and have active internet and/or telephone service in their home.
Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship
The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) runs a national scholarship program for graduating seniors in rural America. In 2026, FRS awarded 60 scholarships out of more than 1,000 applicants, its largest year on record. SC Broadband sponsors applicants from our service area and contributes an additional $500 to every award a local student wins, bringing the one-time scholarship to $2,500.
