SC Broadband Email Service Will End on January 2, 2025
We want to inform you that SC Broadband will be discontinuing Email service and the Webmail portal website for customers on January 2, 2025. If you have an email account with SC Broadband, your email account with us will no longer accept new emails and the Webmail portal will cease to be available after that date.
We understand that email is a vital communication platform and we do not take this decision to end email service lightly. That's why we are providing ample notification to make this change less impactful. We've also sent notices and additional guidance to the affected email accounts to assist you during this transition period.
For step-by-step guides and answers to common questions, we've provided an Email User Transition Guide at emailguide.scbroadband.com. Our Technical Support Team is also available to help with backing up old emails and transitioning to your new account. Please call 435-263-0000 or email techsupport@scbroadband.com any time you need assistance.

Hosted PBX/Business Voice
The fast and reliable solution to Business Voice
How your business communicates, within your organization and with your customers, is crucial to your ultimate success. And the ability to communicate over the telephone remains an absolute necessity. Accordingly, there’s a wide range of telephony systems available to businesses. They include conventional landline solutions, more advanced solutions such as traditional Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems, and cutting edge solutions such as IP PBX.
Today, many businesses are shifting away from onsite PBX systems to IP PBX because of scalability, cost savings, and attractive features like HD Voice, custom hold music, attended transfer, etc. How can you cut through the noise and determine whether IP PBX is the right fit for your organization?
Hosted Voice Systems
Our hosted solution allows you to grow your business without major equipment expense or on-site storage and maintenance. You can also easily manage calls and voicemails with a click of a mouse and address customer needs from anywhere. We provide flexible and scalable solutions and access to enterprise-level features all supported by our local and friendly technicians. Hosted PBX features include:
Group features such as auto attendant, hunt groups, hold music and caller ID (no LDAP).
End user portal to customize features such as find me/follow me, call forwarding, contact management, voice mail preferences and much more.
Click-to-call functionality and call logs so employees can manage calls directly from their desktop.
Retrieve voice-mail messages through your phone, by email, or through the user portal (unified messaging).
Each seat provides an extension and a local exchange telephone number.
Unlimited local calling.
Long distance packages to fit each customer’s needs.
Individual handsets and conference phones from Polycom and Cisco.
Here are the top 5 reasons businesses are opting for IP PBX (why you should consider making the switch).
Easier to install and configure than a traditional PBX.
An IP PBX runs as software on a computer, allowing for simpler installations, easier troubleshooting and maintenance, and a much more user-friendly experience for employees.
Easier to manage through web-based interface (GUI).
Maintaining, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning an IP PBX system is much easier than modifying a traditional PBX thanks to an easy-to-use web-based interface (GUI) designed for all users (compared with traditional PBX interfaces that require specialized phone technicians).
Cost savings.
VoIP service providers generally save businesses money in a number of areas, especially on domestic long distance and international calls.
Keep pace with your business’s growth.
Traditional proprietary systems are typically less scalable than hosted systems. Adding phone lines and extensions requires expensive hardware, and modifying features and functionality may require additional equipment and a technician visit. In some cases, a new phone system may be required. With IP PBX, lines, extensions, and features can all be added simply via the computer interface, making your telephony system easy to expand with minimal disruption to your business.
More features for maximum efficiency.
A feature-rich system means more options for employees and a better customer experience. Because IP PBX is software-based, developers are able to easily add and improve feature sets. Most VoIP phone systems come with numerous features such as auto attendant, voice mail, ring groups, advanced reporting, and more.
