SC Broadband Email Service Will End on January 2, 2025
We want to inform you that SC Broadband will be discontinuing Email service and the Webmail portal website for customers on January 2, 2025. If you have an email account with SC Broadband, your email account with us will no longer accept new emails and the Webmail portal will cease to be available after that date.
We understand that email is a vital communication platform and we do not take this decision to end email service lightly. That's why we are providing ample notification to make this change less impactful. We've also sent notices and additional guidance to the affected email accounts to assist you during this transition period.

What does the acquisition of TKS by SC Broadband mean for me as a customer?
The acquisition means that SC Broadband will now manage your internet service. This may lead to new service offerings, including milti-gig fiber connections, improved infrastructure, and enhanced customer support.
Will my current TKS internet service change immediately?
Staring in December, SC Broadband will be transitioning TKS customers to one of a few new internet plans that best match your current speed and monthly rate. There will be a grace period of the current amount customers are paying. This will be effective through June, 2025. July, 2025 billing will reflect the new plan pricing.
Will my billing or payment methods change?
Yes, SC Broadband will be moving TKS customers to our billing system starting with the February 1st billing and will send out a “bill ready” notifications via email. January services will be billed through the TKS system on January 1st, 2025 for all TKS customers. Electronic payments will and can continue for January. Checks and other forms of payments will need to be mailed to SC Broadband at 856 Sage Dr. Cedar City UT 84720.
Will I be charged a fee to join the Cooperative? And why?
If you are on a TKS Fiber plan, and do not already have a home phone with SC Broadband, a $10 membership fee (required for every member per our by-laws) will be added to your first SC Broadband bill, which grants you access to all the Cooperative’s benefits. Wireless customers will not be charged the Cooperative Membership fee.
Will my service plan or pricing change due to the acquisition?
Your current TKS internet rate will remain valid through June, 2025. If your new SC Broadband plan rate is higher, you will receive a bill credit for the difference during this grace period. Beginning July 1st, 2025, your new SC Broadband plan pricing will apply.
Will my internet speeds or quality of service change?
We have chosen a new plan for TKS customers based on current speeds and rates, but you are encouraged to contact SC Broadband and discuss different plan options at any time. SC Broadband aims to maintain or improve your internet service, with a focus on better speeds and enhanced reliability.

Do I need to have a phone line to have Internet Service?
No, Residential & Business Customers do not need to have a phone line for Internet Service.
I have phone service with SC Broadband, will internet be added to my existing account?
If you have an existing phone line with SC Broadband, your new SC Broadband Internet can plan can be added to the same account. Please give us a call at 435-263-0000 so that we can confirm the details on your account and merge your service plans.
What is my new Internet plan with SC Broadband?
SC Broadband will transition you to a plan similar to your TKS plan in terms of speed and price. If the new plan rate is higher per month, you will enjoy a grace period through June, 2025, during which you’ll keep your current billing amount. Can I switch my Wireless service to SC Broadband’s Fiber Internet?
Yes. We would encourage all wireless customers to upgrade to an SC Broadband Gig Fiber plan for its reliability, speed, and value. Please contact SC Broadband’s Customer Service Team to place an order to be moved to fiber by calling 435-263-0000.
Billing FAQs
When will I receive a bill from SC Broadband?
SC Broadband bills are sent via e-mail on the first of each month. All former TKS Customers will receive a bill from SC Broadband through the existing TKS billing system on January 1st. Customers who have paid for service on a billing cycle December 2 through the 10th will receive a prorated credit on their Jan 1st billing. Electronic payments can and will continue as TKS customers have done in the past. Checks and other forms of payments will need to be mailed to SC Broadband at 856 Sage Dr. Cedar City UT 84720.
All customers will be converted to the SC Broadband billing system starting on February 1st.
Will I receive a bill notice as an email or paper bill?
SC Broadband “bill ready” notifications, with a link to the billing portal where you can view and pay your bill online, will be emailed on the first of each month.
Why did I not receive a bill for December?
If your billing date falls into a bridge period between TKS billing and SC Broadband billing. We chose not to prorate this bridge period to avoid a one-month increase on your bill. No one likes that kind of surprise.
